Bil: My name is Bill, I'm 27 years old from Massachusettes. I've got a Master's Degree in English Literature and split as much of the year as I can between Mass and New Jersey.


Halil: When did you start blogging?

Bil: I started blogging about two years ago around the same time I started refreshing my web design knowledge.


Halil: Would you like to share your first post with us ?

Bil: About a year ago I had to start my blog fresh because of a database issue. You can read the first post of my new blog here: Click here to the first post .


Halil: Where did you get your daily inspiration to blog from?

Bil: I tend to post on two types of things - I either offer gaming news (which I get from various RSS sources) or I blog about general web design. For web design I generally just write about the things that I'm interested in from day to day. What´s the goal of your blog? I just try to share everything that interests me.


Halil: Are there any posts you are excited to offer?

Bil: That would be my FAQ page for my Digg plugin for WordPress. Read the post here. There are about 26 comments and questions on that post.


Halil: How much time do you spend on blogging?

Bil: I blog for about two hours every night, and about six hours across the weekend. I'm constantly checking my blog stats and updating old posts as well.

Bil: 1. Problogger.net 2. DailyBlogTips 3. Lifehacker


Halil: From which blogger did you learn the most? What?

Bil: I love ProBlogger. Everyday Darren produces some of the highest quality content that either teaches you something new or reminds you of something you've forgotten. It's a must read for any blogger no matter what your primary topic is.


Halil: How do you generate traffic?

Bil: I don't really do any of the "tricks" for generating traffic. I just write posts frequently and comment on blogs that interest me.


Halil: What tools do you use for statistics? And how do they help you improve your blog?

Bil: I use Google Analytics and SiteMeter for getting most of my statistics. One thing I've found essential about these services is that they show me what old posts are doing well and give me a great idea on what I can write about that might do well. They're also great for showing me what posts I can monetize.


Halil: Is there anything you want to say at least?
