merkal2005: Hi Henson, please tell us about yourself.

HensonRay: I'm an easy-going guy who loves to find humor in pop culture and a wide variety of other subject matter. The idea of putting my thoughts down in a blog, and then sending them out into the world to land whenever they may, is a pretty unique endeavor. Even if no one reads my blog, I still feel like I'm contributing to the collective mindset.


merkal2005: What you wrote in your blog is so funny! When did you start writing your random musings?

HensonRay: I began writing random musings at the age of eight, when my father gave me a blank book to fill. When I managed to fill it with various stories within two days, my parents were convinced I would someday become a writer with the local newspaper. Instead I moved to NYC and became a graphic artist, which is sort of like a writer, but with paint. Now I just write about whatever comes to mind, with a heavy concentration on pop culture.


merkal2005: Do you plan to buy your own domain and have a self-hosted WordPress blog?

HensonRay: My domain is www.ithappenedinplainfield.com. I do not use WordPress to create my blog.


merkal2005: What are your 2008 goals?

HensonRay: Like everyone, I'd like to find more readers. I'd also like to find the last remaining stock of "Latte Creations," which was prematurely taken off the market last year, forever depriving me of my favorite coffee additive.
