Euripidis: Why did you start blogging?eristoddle: Technically, I started blogging a long time ago, but mainly because it was easier than using HTML to manually build a site. I never really promoted it.
I was only since September of 2007 that I put more focus on getting the word out about my blog. I learned to make money from affiliate marketers who hide all their secrets and make you pay to see them. Then I happened to run into John Chow.
I thought, "I can do that".
I figured I have years of experience in multiple fields of internet marketing and could put it to good use telling others how to do it. Making money online was a miracle for me and one of the only ways I had to get ahead. Once I learned enough, it was easy. I figured I could just pay it forward with less price tags on the information.
So I set some autopilots on my affiliate marketing and started blogging heavily as I had time for.
Euripidis: The top 3 blogs you read?
eristoddle: That's a hard one because I subscribe to so many. I definitely check out Problogger because, although I know the ropes of other types of internet marketing, I am a blogging newbie. It's good to consider yourself a newbie even after you know things. You progress more.
I like Andy Beard because I think that bloggers who come from internet marketing backgrounds do have an edge because they know tricks that will work for blogging that don't necessarily fall under the blogging category.
And DoshDosh for awesome, well written, encyclopedic posts. His blog should be in print form. It is something I would like to read in bed on a rainy day.

Euripidis: Where do you get your inspiration from to write? eristoddle: From books. I was home schooled and thought I was going to be the next Ernest Hemingway. So I have read a lot of classics and still do. A list: Christopher Locke, Thomas Wolfe, Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Robbins, William Saroyan, Robert Anton Wilson. I like writing that almost crosses over into poetry on one end and writing that almost crosses over into the absurd on the other.
