Halil: Why did you start blogging?

oims: We've been blogging for years, and only just this past month or so combined our forces to do one great blog and pull all our knowledge into one spot.

Blogging just turns out to be the easiest way for two people to mesh their ideas together. But it's only recently (relative word) where blogs seem to be the thing that the search engines just love. With new social communities springing up all over, blogging (and the ability to move quickly in terms of answering and responding) is just the best way to set up communication with others online. Fast, easy, fun! Doesn't get any better :)


Halil: The top 3 blogs you read?

oims: Oh my, we have to limit it to just three? Sorry, there's no way... We like the blogs in the Positive Blog Network group, the bloggers over at BlogCatalog, and off of Hubpages, there are some tremendous people we make a point of reading often.


Halil: The top 3 post you write?

oims: Online-Internet-Marketing-Strategies.com covers social media how to's and currently we're on a Hubpages, Facebook, social bookmarking trend. However, things change in a heartbeat when we stumble across so many, many marketing ideas and strategies to bring to our readers. Our primary categories to date are hot topic news items, social media strategies and reviews, and we've even thrown in a few product recommendations and free downloads.


Halil: Where do you get your inspiration from to write?

oims: You know that is such an interesting question. Inspiration can come from a client phone conversation, a newspaper article in the today's paper, an email that arrives that just strikes a nerve, or finding great posts by others and wanting to do a bit of follow up ourselves. Inspiration literally is all around us, you've just got to take the time to at least jot it down for a future article or writeup, or find a quiet moment "in the now" and do it right away. (Not unlike this interview!)
