merkal2005: When did you start blogging and why?

emmaalvarez: I started a blog in another web service but changed to Blogger because it allows me to have more features.
For me, having a blog is a way to reach the others in every possible way. People can not only see my work, they can also get to know me better, and my view points. And I can get to know them too, and that's one of the things I like most.
I also like to include fun things like videos or music. When I write in my blog ( http://emmaalvarez.blogspot.com ), I try to think what I would like to find there, trying to think as a reader.


merkal2005: Emma, you photo looks so nice. Is it your real photo or are you using a fake one just like many other who are trying to attract attention?

emmaalvarez: LOLOLOL, you ask if it's my real photo? Yes, of course. But everybody says me I am not photogenic. I have some pics in different websites. But I must say I am nicer in person LOL ;)


merkal2005: "Words, only words. Frisky and dreaming. Wanting to be listened. Straight from the heart, only words." This quote is taken from your own blog. Do you like words and writing?

emmaalvarez: Since I was a child I had a great imagination, and liked to tell stories and writing. Sometimes is easier to write things than saying. When we write, as we are alone, it's easier to express feelings.


merkal2005: Have you ever been to Istanbul before ? Will you be interested in a blogger's meeting in Istanbul?

emmaalvarez: No, I wasn't. My aunt was once, and she brought precious pics. That is a place where I would like to go. I like turkish food, and the music of Mercan Dede (not the disco music, the classic arabian I mean). One of the things I liked most of what my aunt brought from Turkey was an apple tea that I won't forget in my life!
But one of the best ways to know Turkey is to read your blog.
