 | One of many nicknames of mine, is \'Loon.\' It was given to me by my boyfriend back in 1999. A lot of people started calling me by that name. Even more than my given name. What's funny (to me) is, my middle name starts with an "L" so I can claim, my middle name is Loon.

I met my boyfriend online in 1999. I was 18 Jersy girl and graduating high school. He was 39, a Texan, father of two grown children (close to my age.) Neither of us were looking for love. Especially not on AOL, but, we found it! We've been living together since 2003. I have become a "step-mom" and "grandma" of sorts. His daughter has two sons and his son dubbed me with the title of step mom. I love it :)
I am 26. Was born and raised in North Jersey. I was diagnosed with moderate Cerebral Palsy. Not confined to a wheelchair, but use one on occasion. I am the oldest of four and the only daughter. I love my brothers immensely! I call them "my boys." My mother and I moved to Texas in July 2001. All four of us (My mother, my boyfriend, his son and I) are planning on moving to Nevada one day!
Halil: Why did you start blogging?loonarlanding: Writing has always been a passion of mine. I started writing poetry and stories regularly, since the age of eight. I throw myself completely into anything creative. I also loved to impersonate people/accents etc since the age of five. I feel my writing takes on a tone of whomever I'm writing "as." I write because it is an extension of myself. I attempt to "paint" with my words in every post I make. I want others to see what I feel. I am an open book. I love to learn about others and have them learn about me as well. No subject matter or question is off-limits when it pertains to me. Halil: Where do you get your inspiration from to write? loonarlanding: My life. The lives of those around me. The news. Music. Images. My dreams. Halil: Choose one word to describe your blog? loonarlanding: Eclectic
