welyI\'m Wely Jesch Sabalilag, 20 years old, from Iloilo, Philippines. Student, artist, philosopher, to name some of the few things I am based on the various interests that I had.
Halil: Why did you start blogging?

wely: I started blogging circa 2000. It started out as an online journal sort of thing in www.homestead.com. Through that time, I was busy with school life, I used to stay at the dorm so it was like an irregular blog. I switched from host to host, until 2006. I've had blogs in geocities, angelfire, blogspot (now blogger), livejournal, and a lot, i mean really, a truckload of other web hosts i couldn't exactly remember. My transitions from bloghost to bloghost isnt entirely smooth and along the way I lost most of my entries.

Halil: The top 3 blogs you read?

wely: The blog that I loved the most, was lifehacker. It's not only relevant but it provides links, tips and insights into the daily life of a geek. The second one is probably Gizmodo, since I'm a gadget fanboi, and the reviews of the latest products, gadgets and all are like new paintings of da vinci for me. And last but not the least is TechCrunch, like Gizmodo, TechCrunch provides reviews of the latest start-ups and happening in the semantic web. It makes one feel smarter being updated with the latest developments in the web.

Halil: The top 3 post you write?

wely: hehehe. none so far. actually, i'd like to keep that one a secret.

Halil: Where do you get your inspiration from to write?

wely: I would usually be motivated to write by a fleeting inspiration, usually discoveries about life, epiphanies about the reality with live in, new perspectives on philosophies, and other stuff I think would be worth writing about. But sometimes, when I sit down and write, I would really deviate from my intended topic, and that would be really frustrating.

Halil: Choose one word to describe your blog?

wely: For Pickled Thoughts: Misadventures.
For WarPath: Ubermensch.
