Halil: Send me a few notes about your background: name, age, where you`re from, etc....

polliwog: My name is Paula but my nickname is Polliwog (my dad gave it to me when I was born) and friends have shortened that to Polli. I am in my late 30's and I'm a California girl by birth but have also lived in Alaska, Oregon and Washington. I currently live on a small Island off the coast of Northwest Washington State. The only real notable thing about me is that I am mom to six kids. :-)


Halil: Why did you start blogging?

polliwog: I started learning about blogging in the summer of 2006 to help my friend who wanted to start a blog. I spent 6 months helping him, and then he started encouraging me to start my own. I was nervous about it and did not think I could do it. I find it fun and relaxing and I love the people I meet and the things I am learning.
