thejunkyswife: What was your inspiration for starting your site?

zephyr1: I live in a very pristine forest. I have been here all my life. Even though I feel it to be pristine, I have seen the changes. The amount of snow that is falling is less, the smog is starting to creep into the woods from the valley. I felt it important to raise awareness.


thejunkyswife: What are your goals for your site? Education only, or something more?

zephyr1: My main goal is to bring the current and relevant climate change or environmental news articles to one site. So that my readers can find reliable stories without searching. This will help educate and help readers understand the conditions of our climate at present.


thejunkyswife: What other ways are you involved in environmental activism?

zephyr1: I am currently active at several sites such as Friends of the Earth - Sierra Club - Greenpeace



thejunkyswife: In addition to blogging, what do you do? Like, for a living, as well as for fun?

zephyr1: I am a retired paraprofessional. For fun, I love going to the theater, balloon festivals, gardening, and canoing.
