merkal2005: A few weeks ago i saw a post about you in Robert Scoble's blog. How did you meet him? Are you still in close contact with him? Please share your opinions about him with us.

SteliEfti: I went to this geek dinner my first night in San Francisco and he was there too. I told him my story and he said something like: "You should give me a call tomorrow!" I did and he just said we should meet somewhere to talk and it turned out that he had his camera with him ( he ALWAYS has) and we did the interview. After that he took me to the original garage of HP and to a SF new tech meetup. It was a great day and he is such a fantastic guy. I am still in contact with him and seen him last week in the streets of San Francisco leaving some event and had a chat with him. This area is really cool!


merkal2005: I admire your determination and courage. Without any appointment or contact you went to San Francisco to discover Silicon Valley and meet with pro-bloggers like Robert Scoble. Are you crazy? (i know you are, i am only asking for the readers!)

SteliEfti: Hahaha...what a great question. Yes, I am. I am crazy about learning and growth and the best way to learn is to go beyond your personal comfort zone. This is what I did by leaving to San Francisco and it is what I want to continue to do with my life...


merkal2005: Will your students have to pass the examinations in Super Cool School ? How will you understand that they really learn the lessons?

SteliEfti: NO EXAMS! I don´t believe in them. Just because you could REPEAT something at a certain point of time doesn´t mean you understood or mastered a certain lesson!

@ Supercool School - people will only learn what they want to learn and teach what they wanna teach. There is enough motivation to master knowledge in areas you really care about so the need of proof to some third party is useless.

BUT Supercool School will give you everything you need to be able to understand and master any lesson you like in the future. That´s the job of a Supercool School ;)

We´re in the business of empowering people. Not judging them.


merkal2005: Have you ever been to Istanbul before ? What do you know about the city ? Will you be interested in a bloggers meeting in Istanbul?

SteliEfti: I have been in Turkey before and I loved it. It was a business trip with lots of meetings in hotel rooms so I didn´t had a chance to explore the city more but I will definitely return to do it in the future. Some of my best friends are from Turkey.

I think a blogger meeting in Istanbul could be a kick-ass event!

I mean there are alot of cool turkish people blogging...
