Euripidis: Why did you start blogging?

thejunkyswife: When I found my husband's heroin needles, I knew I needed to write. I tried writing poetry, which had been my writing/catharsis/therapy for years beforehand, but I was too drained to be creative in those ways...too tired for metaphor. I had a girlfriend who kept a blog a few years ago, and I woke up one day with the phrase "the junky's wife" stuck in my mind. I figured I'd better start a blog! It's been one of the most healing and helpful things I've ever done.
