Euripidis: Send me a few notes about your background: name, age, where you`re from, etc....

evnucci: I will be 50 years old this year and I'm pretty excited about that. I like getting older because I love the wisdom that comes with aging. I don't feel fifty...so I don't think I'm your normal 50 year old! My background is I worked as an executive for two fortune 500 companies and become a start-up expert after starting three different divsions for them. Course I thought I knew everything about start-ups because I was an intrapreneur. Reality is I didn't know anything and I learned that when I went out on my own and started my first company. I sold my first company five years after I started it to the industry giant. Now I own a consulting firm and we specialize in the institutional asset management business (Wall Street).

I'd say my greatest advantage in life has been the fast that I grew up with four brothers. I think more like a guy than I do a typical woman and that's a great advantage in business.

Originally I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. However, after attending college in England, I moved 19 times. Now I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, but work in New York City.


Euripidis: Why did you start blogging?

evnucci: I started blogging in August, 2006. But I am severely technology challenged and lost my first blog, Murphy's Law until December. Then I found it. Who would have thought! When you are as old as me, you can't remember certain things, so I'm not sure when I started Career Strategist, except I know it was after I lost Murphy's Law...and after I learned as much as I could about blogging.


Euripidis: The top 3 blogs you read?

evnucci: Gees, I read alot of blogs. So I can't say there are three blogs that I read daily. I read all of my friends blogs weekly and that is pretty much all my buddies on my blogroll. As I meet new bloggers and if I like what they have to say, I add them to my blogroll, so I can go visit them. That's how I use my blogroll...as a tool for me.

evnucci: I write three blogs...so that's a really tough thing to answer.


Euripidis: Where do you get your inspiration from to write?

evnucci: From experience, life and the media which usually makes me crazy because they get the information wrong.


Euripidis: Choose one word to describe your blog?

evnucci: If you are talking about Career Strategist..I would say it's filled with wisdom and insight.
