I sleep a lot about 19 hours a day but when I’m up and not feeding I like to have fun by playing pranks on people to pay them back for covering my habitat with rubbish like roads and stuff. My favorite food is the Australia Blue Gum tree leaves; I just love those new shoots and leaves. Some people think I’m cute and cuddly but I’ve got news for you buddy! They don’t call me the Crazy Aussie Bastard for nothing.
Halil: Why is the name of your blog Crazy Aussie Bastard?Bruce Bear: Because I am a crazy Aussie bastard!
Halil: What is the reason that your write from the sight of a Koala? Bruce Bear: My blog is my personal way of showing how I feel on any particular subject, that takes my fancy and, is a way to vent my anger. I do this in a light hearted way but, being a Scorpio there is always a sting in my tail.
Halil: Describe your blog! Bruce Bear: My Blog is a crazy mix of Current affairs, Silly and Real News, Politics, Religion and pretty much anything that will get under your skin and provoke a good old argument! Because I really do hate everyone!
Halil: Which category would you choose for your blog? Bruce Bear: I think it fits many categories including; News, Politics, Current affairs, Entertainment etc.
Halil: Why did you start blogging and what do you want to achieve with this blog? Bruce Bear: I wanted to create a mainstream blog and show my crazy perspective on a world gone mad, in a light hearted way. Also to show there is an opposing view to every argument. My goal is to have some fun, become known as a large, successful, satirical site with a broad appeal to entertain a growing readership.
Halil: What is your motivation to continue blogging? Bruce Bear: I actually love the responses I get from the readers and I’d like to grow my ranking.
Halil: What experience did you made with your blog(reactions from reader) and which where your acmes? Bruce Bear: I have no previous experience either as a writer or blogger. Its been very difficult for me to get this project going and for me, it’s a continuous struggle to understand new technologies.
Halil: What kind of people read your blog and who should read it? Bruce Bear: Because the site is fairly new I’m not completely sure of its demographic and to be honest its pretty organic in that its evolving pretty fast. I think it has a broad appeal because of the wide range of subjects I cover. I think anyone who is interested in Current and World affairs, The environment, Human and animal rights, Politics, Religion etc. or who just want to be entertained with quirky storey’s will love the site. I can honestly say I’ve been overwhelmed by many of the response thus far.
Halil: Where do you get your inspiration from to write? Bruce Bear: I search the net for weird and wonderful stories. Sometimes I completely re-write them other times I use the storey as is with my own slant on it but, I always put my point of view at the end. All my comments and thoughts come form my own head or personal experiences in life. The gum leaves help too!
Halil: In your article Stupid Pommery bastard you write about a huge human family. Have you got a koala family? Bruce Bear: I’m a loner; so the answer is NO! Do you have koala kids? Female Koala’s have pouches to bring up their young so I wouldn’t have a clue how many little crazy Aussie bastards are out there. I reject categorically all offers to take a paternity test. How many? Have a guess? I bloody don’t know! NEXT QUESTION!
Halil: Which of your blog posts is the most valueable for your readers and why? Bruce Bear: That depends if they are male or female and where they reside. I cover stories from all over the world and all political persuasions and religions. I particularly like this one:
most valueble post here Because it exposes the political hypocrisy of the west to a global problem, regardless of your thoughts on the subject I think it’s a bloody good read.
Halil: Would you post content from another blogger in your blog if it`s good? Bruce Bear: I’d be very happy to receive content form other bloggers, of course, it would have to fit with my content criteria and, they would have to accept my comment as a prolog (as is customary in all my stories).
Halil: Would you like to interview someone? Bruce Bear: I would love to interview lots of people, actors, politicians, religious leaders, heads of states, corporate leaders, animal right activists, globilisationists, environmentalist etc. but, I have an idea many would not like my line of questioning.
Halil: If this interview could be read by millions of people, what would you want to tell them? Bruce Bear: I’d like to tell them that the world really is a crazy, mixed up place and, realise there is a different perspective. I’m challenging them to see things from my perspective, and hopefully, (for the reader) to be more tolerant and accepting of others opinions whether or not you agree with them! Except the bastards trying to destroy my habitat they can bugger off!
