Euripidis: How old is your blog and why did you start it? Bryan: My blog's first post was on August 9, 2006. I started it just to get out some of my crazy ideas and let the readers who chose to care read them. I had felt like I was burdening my friends a bit by going on about crazy theories. I also thought that it could be quite a great idea for the Internet. I named it Bryan's Rants because I rant about every day items. It is also unique because unlike other blogs it really doesn't fit into any category.
Euripidis: Would you like to share your first post with us? URL please. Bryan: First post here - This post is my first post and it basically tells my readers, who was nobody at the time, that my site was live.
Euripidis: What kind of people read your blog and who should read it? How are their reactions?Bryan: Many people who read my blog are close friends or people who I have met threw the blogosphere. It is a smaller knit community and many of my top posters are routinely posti ng. A lot of people like to debate my crazy theories. My blog is all about what-ifs. I debate things that could happen, but in reality never will. Unlike other blogs I cover such topics as religion and education, both of which are hot topics and get quite a bit of comments. Is there anything you ever wanted to post but didn´t post for some reason? Nope. My blog is 110% real.
Euripidis: Are there any topics you wouldn´t write about? Bryan: Same answer.
Euripidis: What do you like most on blogging? Bryan: Because I am a very random person I love the randomness of blogging. I like meeting all the people in the blogosphere and reading what happens in their lives.
Euripidis: How many blogs do you have currently in your reader? Bryan: Currently I have between 10 and 20 blogs in my reader. I also have every big sport known to man kind.
Euripidis: What do you think is the difference between bloggers and journalists? Bryan: Bloggers write about anything and everything and don't necessarily have to be accurate. Also, bloggers don't have to cover topics that mean anything to anyone. If I want to write about how I have had a bad day I can do that, whereas if I was a journalist I wouldn't be writing about my personal life.
Euripidis: If you could choose one blogger who writes about you who would it be? Bryan: I personally do not know any big bloggers. I would love for anyone to cover my blog. Exposure is great!
Euripidis: Do you use any toolbars?
Bryan: None.
Euripidis: Do you want to say something to other blogger? Bryan: Stop by and check out the blog. I would love some new readers.
