Photography have always had a strong influence in my family, I have been fascinated by it for I was a little kid. Before digital photography improved, it was too expensive for me to practice seriously with a normal camera.
Since the day I could afford my first serious digital camera, I have been trying to learn photography by myself, understands how it works with all the help I can get through books or advices and works from professionnals.
I know that learning photography is trying to learn art ; this means that I will need all my life to try to reach something mostly unreachable.
But I see photography as a way of self-improvement, a road to better understand how to look at the world, to discover details even in the every-day life, a new way to express feelings.
Through pictures I try to communicate with others, with a whole new language. When I catch an image, I'm always focusing on what people will get from it, on which story I will tell them.
I hope to interest the one looking at my photograph in discovering the world with a brand new eye. |
