My name is Kevin Johnson. I'm 33, I'm from Dallas, Texas. I deliver Holiday Popcorn Tins for a living.


When did you Start your blog?

I officially started The Famous Guy.Com on October 16, 2006. I started the process a few months prior. I went through 4 different web designers before finally finding Matt Lum, who designed Perez Hilton's website. The previous designers quit on me just before the scheduled launch dates. These setbacks almost caused me to quit pre-maturely and unbeknown st to me at the time, these untimely events would simply lead me to the perfect guy for the job.


How did you get the idea to your blog?

I got the idea for The Famous Guy.Com while looking at tabloid magazines. I thought about how cool it would be to live the celebrity lifestyle and wondered if it were possible for an ordinary guy to create that lifestyle by simply announcing it to the World.


What purpose/intent do you want to achieve with your blog?

My overall purpose for the site is to motivate others to greatness. I want people to know that no matter how bad their situation is they can still accomplish their dreams.


Choose one sentence to describe your blog?

From delivery guy to A-list celebrity within 12 months.


What type of person would be interested in reading your blog?

My readers and fans are ambitious. I attract people who strive to accomplish on a greater level in life. Most people want to see the little guy make it because it gives them hope.


What do you like most on blogging?

Communication, participation on different projects... I really enjoy opening emails from people who genuinely want to see me succeed. I feel a certain sense of responsibility in completing this mission for everyone who supports me.

How do you generate traffic?

I generate a lot of traffic by posting comments on popular sites. I use MySpace to promote my cause.

Fuel My Blog, Spicy Page and My Blog Log are all great promotional tools as well. It's also a great way to interact with other bloggers and gain valuable feedback.
