merkal2005: Hi Erica, please introduce yourself ericajoh: Hi, I'm a positive and happy girl in my 20's, at the moment I'm based in Sweden and work as a freelance writer and photographer. I grew up in the Swedish cities Halmstad, Stockholm and Borensberg, and have loved to travel ever since I went on a road trip to Eastern Europe with my parents when I was 2. merkal2005: You have been to many parts of the world. It must be an amazing experiment. Which countries are your favorites? ericajoh: Yeah, traveling is amazing. I love it. My favourite countries so far are France (mostly because of the skiing), Switzerland (especially Zurich), Greece (because I love the culture, the music, the food and all the beaches), and since my favourite city is New York I'll have to say USA. Actually, I must say the UK as well because I love London. merkal2005: Do you try new sports like Capoeria when travelling as a former dancer? ericajoh: Well, I wouldn't call myself a former dancer because I still love to dance... even though I don't do it as often as before. I haven't tried Capoeira yet, but I'd definitely like to try it when I travel to Brazil later this year. merkal2005: When did you decide keeping a travel blog? How is it going? ericajoh: About a year ago, in April 2007. So far it's going great. I love blogging and I'm pretty sure I will do it for the rest of my life. merkal2005: What are your blogging plans for the future? ericajoh: One of my plans is to move Blissful Travel to another web host, mostly because I want to offer advertising and it feels more professional to have your own domain name instead of using a free Wordpress.com blog. I also want to update my blog more often, keep networking with other bloggers, upload more of my own photos, and hopefully I can keep inspiring people to travel to new places.
