We always had fun on these trips and our friends loved the stories we would tell. Unfortunately, Mike moved a couple of hours north and we hang out far less. In a bit of irony, I set up a site to post adventures, then stopped having them. After that, I started a site where I posted websites and articles I found noteworthy. Amongst my friends, I became a person to ask about current events or what the "real story" is because most of my friends get information that has been diluted through various retellings or news comedy shows. And now, I started another site with Mike that doesn't involve us physically going out and doing anything and reporting it. Instead, it has us writing and quibbling about minutiae in songs that only we care about. Euripidis: The top 3 blogs you read? rmangaha: This is a tougher question to answer than I thought. The first one that comes to my mind is Drudge Report, but I don't know if that counts as a true blog. I've taken very recently to Obscure Sound and that has quickly rocketed its way near the top. I also visit Lifehacker a lot to satisfy my inner geek. And I have to mention IMAO. I find it terribly funny. Euripidis: The top 3 post you write? rmangaha: Unfortunately, most of my favorite posts have been lost to the curse of the unpaid bill and unrecoverable database. One of my favorite posts was about a Herpes commercial I saw on TV. The commercial starts with "I have genital herpes, but I don't let it slow me down," as the guy was rock climbing. All I could think was, "I don't have genital herpes, and I'm slow as hell!" And I ran with it... Another one I enjoyed writing was a point by point refutation of of the Moon landing conspiracy. It was quite technical and had snapshots of a lego moon landing I created. It was the post I felt I accomplished something great. I had never put that much work into actual school work. And on my most recent blog, I think my favorite post would have to be the one I wrote on Daft Punk's "Da Funk" so far. Euripidis: Where do you get your inspiration from to write? rmangaha: At this point, my inspiration is the music that gets stuck in my head. It provides a minor soundtrack to my life. My writings, at that point, are merely myself as a background music critic. Music can bring about so much emotion in myself, that with this writing, I can finally share the feeling. Euripidis: Choose one word to describe your blog? rmangaha: tongue-in-cheek
