ComradeRavenhawkWell, my name is Jeremy Williams, the name Ravenhawk comes from a character in a couple short stories I've written. I live in Moscow Idaho, attending the University of Idaho, I'm 19, but I mostly grew up in Truckee, California, a cool little ski town.

Euripidis: Why did you start blogging?

ComradeRavenhawk: I started blogging actually because I wanted to review the various MMORPGs that I'd been playing, since I've played nearly all the free ones available out there. However, despite my blog's name, I haven't really reviewed too many, for the most part I've talked about more general things relating to the social aspects of mmorpgs and my classes in programming.

Euripidis: The top 3 post you write?

ComradeRavenhawk: Difficult question as my blog has never gained too much attention, but google-wise that'd probably be my post on private servers (http://socialistgamer.blogspot.com/2006/11/on-pirate-servers.html)
in combination with whatever game I've talked about and they're googling..

As far as which ones I like best, I found my article on the evolution of gaming guilds through time (http://socialistgamer.blogspot.com/2006/10/changes-through-time-of-gaming-guild.html)

And my article on degrading items (http://socialistgamer.blogspot.com/2006/11/pros-and-cons-of-degrading-items.html)

to be most excellent.

Euripidis: Where do you get your inspiration from to write?

ComradeRavenhawk: Well, that depends, lately I've been in a bit of a slump, but a lot of my inspiration has come from programming classes, new games I've played, people I've run into while playing, and the occasional article from a couple technology and gaming news sites I read.

Euripidis: Choose one word to describe your blog?

ComradeRavenhawk: Revolutionary. (Mebbe not, but it sounded cooler than "Awesome.")
