Preview : table4fivePeopleized by: Halil - Thursday, 20 November 2008 I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Michigan State University, and I've been a stay at home Mom for 8 and a half years. Halil: Why did you start blogging? table4five: I was put on bedrest when I was pregnant with my daughter, and my husband got me a laptop. I was looking for a way to reach out to other Moms, and I thought a blog would be a good way to record the memories of my pregnancy. I started Table for Five on Blogger, but I honestly thought I would only write on it once in a while, or that I would eventually forget all about it! Now here I am, almost two years later! Halil: The top 3 blogs you read? table4five: I read Amalah.com every day. I also subscribe to Dooce.com, Fussy.org, and Finslippy.typepad.com. Okay, that's four, but it's four REALLY good ones! Halil: Where do you get your inspiration from to write? table4five: I find myself "writing" blog posts in my head all the time! I view events and situations in a different way than I did before I blogged. As things are happening, I look for what is interesting about it, what is something I want to remember or share with others? When I take photos, I think about whether I will post them on my blog or on Flickr or PhoTrade. I find it very easy to get inspired! Halil: Choose one word to describe your blog? table4five: Honest.
