Halil: Send us a few notes about you and your background.

thejunkyswife: I grew up in rural North Carolina, but I lived in New York for a few years for grad school and to work after I finished. I returned to North Carolina in an effort to be close to family and re-figure myself...I have a MFA in creative writing, and I used to be a poet.


Halil: About which topics wouldn´t you write?

thejunkyswife: I don't hold back much, but there has been some stuff that my husband has done that is illegal or dangerous or would reveal his identity. Really, I try to keep our identities protected and the identities of our loved ones as much as possible, so any details that would reveal us too much are really off limits.


Halil: What´s your source for keeping your post on a high level?

thejunkyswife: I've really enjoyed blogging, and I enjoy writing generally. I am always eager to write stuff about my husband, his addiction and recovery, and our relationship, and I like the blogging medium. I also have some readers who are fairly loyal, so I like giving them something to read. I enjoy watching my audience expand and watching my Technorati authority grow, so it's a neat experiment.
